Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

If your servers went down today would you be able to restore them so you could continue to do business tomorrow? When your organization is down it costs you money and harms your reputation with your customers. No one thinks a disaster will happen to them, but your organization should have a plan in place should the unthinkable happen. Don’t wait and find out the hard way that you weren’t prepared.

Citihosts understands how crucial and important keeping your data safe is. We can help you create your disaster recovery plan. We will work with you to determine what steps you can take now to develop a plan and prepare for any disasters in the future.

If you already have a plan in place we also offer auditing services to test your plan to ensure data recovery success.

Advanced Monitoring

Sophisticated internal software monitors track all of your backups and immediately notifies us of failures so that potential issues are resolved before they become problems.

Backup Guarantee

All backups are tested and verified to ensure that a successful restore could take place in the event of data loss. Regular internal reviews are performed to ensure we are aware of and are selecting ALL of your mission-critical data for backup.

Tailored Solutions

We’ve partnered with industry leading providers to offer you a variety of different software and hardware solutions including those provided by Dell, APC, Citrix, Barracuda, SAN, Shadow Copy and more.

Rules of Backup

  1. If they aren’t done automatically, they aren’t reliable.
  2. Untested restoration procedures are more likely to fail when they are needed most.
  3. Your data needs multiple back up processes rather than a single procedure.

Did you know?

Recovery Time Objective (RTO)
RTO represents the time it takes to restore the application once a recovery operations begins, reducing the RTO can be achieved by the shortening the time to begin the restore process, and speeding up the restore process itself.
Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
RPO represents the amount of data that will be lost in the event a restore is required. The RPO can be improved by running a backup job more often.
